Chris Davies will highlight the role of North West organisations in engaging with the European Parliament on health issues. The three speakers will then form a panel and answer questions from the audience. Chris Davies – Member of European Parliament for the North West of England 10:25 Questions to the Speakers/ Panel Debate 10:45 Coffee break 11:15 European opportunities for North West health priorities Conference participants will then divide into 3 separate workshops on Wellbeing, Health Research and Innovation, and Investment in Health. These are areas of joint priority for the NW region and the EU. The aim is to improve understanding from both levels of the concrete actions or collaborations that may be possible at either level to improve population health and wellbeing. This will also highlight real European opportunities for NW stakeholders to collaborate and influence policy at the EU level.
